Evgeniya Mikhailov. Kitchen Cabinets. August 09th , 2019.
Hand-painted and inspired with the scenes of Italy, these appliances can be like nothing you have often seen before.
Your basic toaster is not on which Dolce & Gabbana just released.
After an excellent partnership a year ago creating hand-painted refrigerators, the style brand collaborated with SMEG to make Sicily is my Love, a whole new halogen oven line. This year's collection is scaled down in space but not necessarily in style. With smaller countertop appliances like toasters, blenders, juicers, and even more, Dolce & Gabbana makes functional art to the home.
The brand new lines are an ode to Sicilian folklore. Each piece is painted in bright shades of red, yellow, blue, and green. Visions of ripe fruit, Italian waterfronts, and vivid patterns coat the appliances.
These are definitely not the sort of kitchen tools to be hidden away in a cabinet or drawer. We even feel guilty calling them appliances! However, their price tag reflects their craftsmanship. The least expensive items start at $600, plus the colorful SMEG refrigerators run for $50,000.
Although unfortunately we cannot necessarily recommend dropping the dough it will require to purchase one of these brilliant, keep an eye out for appliances sticking with the same patterns to kick or punch store shelves. Discount stores and artisanal boutiques instantly snatch up this trend fast, with an eye-catching appliance is exactly what your home needs.
Until we our hands on one of these brilliant conversation starters, you will discover us perfecting our painting skills. We would not have the cash to purchase an original, but the masterpieces have inspired us to find out what else we turns into works of art.
