It’s is absolutely impossible to assemble the panels backwards or wrong. The backs are identical and the sides are identical the only pieces different are the top and bottom. Put this together by my self in about an hour. Final tightening is best done with another person holding wrench but not impossible to be done alone. Cabinet is excellent quality. DO make sure you inspect the box for damage at the store and if you see any at all ask for another one or u will be bringing it back

As long as the outside box is in tact the cabinet should be fine. Only negative is the amount of shelves it comes with. I ended up making another shelf out of wood to make a 5th shelf

This tiny space proves that even if your kitchen is no bigger than the average closet it can still pack in some big style as long as you restrain yourself. A strict monochrome approach to dinnerware keeps it visually uncluttered. This little space takes some big risks that have huge style payoffs. From the bold yellow cabinetry to the blue accent wall, it’s easy to overlook the pint-sized floor plan of this boldly-colored space. The writing is definitely on the wall in this kitchen, where a chalkboard-painted accent wall acts as a space to write daily mantras or to-do lists.

Keep everything white, then add in pops of color from your serving ware, or even a SMEG fridge. Think rustic and modern can not be mixed? This raw wood island is proof they totally can.

Keep the kitchen cozy and full of style with a vibrant vintage-style rug, like this one from Canary Lane, photographed for Instagram in the kitchen of stylist Carlay Page Summers. For a narrow galley-style kitchen, go with a runner, or try a smaller 3′ x 5′ for something more square and compact.

A modern kitchen, whether it’s part of an open plan or if it’s a separate area, would usually have a simple and clean décor. The furniture would have simple lines without unnecessary ornaments or decorative details. Also, special attention is usually given to the way the space is used and organized. It’s why modern kitchens have lots of storage space, most often hidden in unexpected places.

Your ceiling is often untapped (and full of potential). Try a heavy-duty ceiling pot rack or try a DIY project like the owners of this small kitchen who created a hanging bar. Apartment Therapy writer Nancy Mitchell lives in a small studio in Manhattan with very limited counter space. She remedied that by bringing in a compact rolling cart which acts as an island.

Rather than trying to cover up this aged brick (there are surely far, far worse problems in the world), this kitchen made it part of its decor. Whether you have beautiful brick like this or reclaimed wood or vintage tile, consider sticking with it before making big changes
